This Privacy Policy explains how Unblurvideo.ai (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when you access or use unblurvideo and the website located at https://unblurvideo.ai, together with any related applications, tools, video enhancement features, account services, payment features, and customer support services (collectively, the “Services”).
Our Services provide AI-powered video enhancement features, which may include video upscaling, restoration, unblurring, preview generation, and related media processing. Because these Services may involve account information, payment information, uploaded media files, generated outputs, usage activity, and technical data, we are committed to handling such information in a transparent and responsible manner.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Services, whether you access the Services as a visitor, registered user, free user, paid subscriber, or customer purchasing one-time credits. It also applies regardless of the device, browser, or location from which you access the Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites, products, platforms, or services that we do not own or control, even if they are linked from or integrated with the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information in several ways: information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, information collected automatically through technical systems, and information received from third-party providers that support our Services.
When you create an account, use the Services, contact us, or make a purchase, we may collect information such as your email address, account credentials, username, profile information, billing information, customer support messages, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.
When you upload videos, images, or other media files to the Services, we may collect and process the uploaded source files, generated previews, enhanced outputs, file metadata, processing settings, AI job records, task status information, and diagnostic information. This may include technical details such as file size, resolution, duration, format, frame rate, selected enhancement mode, target resolution, processing status, error messages, and job identifiers.
Uploaded content is processed for the purpose of providing the AI video enhancement, restoration, unblurring, upscaling, preview, download, or related functionality requested by you. We do not use uploaded videos, generated outputs, or customer content to train or fine-tune AI models without explicit user consent, except for aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify a user or their content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and legal authority to upload, process, enhance, and download any content submitted through the Services. You should not upload content that violates the rights of others, applicable law, or our Terms of Service.
We may also collect technical and usage information automatically when you access or interact with the Services. This may include your IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, language settings, referring pages, pages visited, time spent on pages, session activity, feature usage, request timestamps, error logs, crash reports, and security-related signals. We use this information to operate the Services, prevent abuse, detect technical issues, improve performance, and understand how users interact with the platform.
If you make a purchase, subscribe to a plan, or buy credits, payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe (https://stripe.com/privacy). We do not store complete credit card numbers or full payment credentials on our own servers. We may receive limited billing-related information from payment providers, such as billing email, transaction status, subscription status, invoice identifiers, payment method type, and other metadata necessary to manage accounts, credits, subscriptions, refunds, and billing support.
We may receive information from third-party services where necessary to provide or improve the Services. For example, authentication providers may provide account login information, analytics providers may provide aggregated usage insights, security providers may provide fraud or abuse detection signals, and payment processors may provide billing status information.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services. This includes creating and managing user accounts, enabling video uploads, processing AI enhancement tasks, generating previews, providing downloadable outputs, managing credits and subscriptions, processing payments, responding to support requests, and communicating with users about their accounts or service activity.
We also use information to monitor platform performance, debug technical issues, improve processing reliability, evaluate feature usage, develop new functionality, prevent fraud, detect abuse, enforce usage limits, and protect the security and integrity of the Services.
We may use contact information to send service-related communications, including account notices, transaction confirmations, security alerts, processing updates, support responses, policy updates, and other administrative messages. Where permitted by law, and where any required consent has been obtained, we may also send product updates, promotional messages, newsletters, or marketing communications. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time, although you may continue to receive transactional or service-related messages.
We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information for analytics, research, product development, infrastructure optimization, and business planning. Such information is not intended to identify individual users.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we process personal information only where we have an appropriate legal basis.
We may process information where it is necessary to perform a contract with you, such as providing the Services, managing your account, processing uploaded videos, generating outputs, handling payments, or providing customer support.
We may process information based on our legitimate interests, including maintaining and improving the Services, preventing fraud and abuse, protecting platform security, analyzing usage, supporting business operations, enforcing our Terms of Service, and communicating with users about service-related matters, provided that such interests are not overridden by your privacy rights and interests.
We may process information based on your consent where required by law, including for certain cookies, marketing communications, optional analytics, or other activities where consent is required. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, although withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
We may also process information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, regulatory, dispute resolution, law enforcement, or other legal requirements.
5. Uploaded Content and AI Processing
The Services may require uploaded videos or media files to be stored temporarily and transmitted to processing systems or AI infrastructure providers in order to complete the requested enhancement task. These providers may process uploaded files, generated outputs, metadata, or task instructions on our behalf solely for the purpose of delivering the requested functionality.
Access to uploaded files may be protected through temporary signed URLs, expiring download links, access tokens, or similar limited-access mechanisms. These mechanisms are designed to reduce unnecessary exposure of uploaded content while allowing the Services and processing infrastructure to perform requested operations.
We do not publicly display, publish, sell, or distribute your uploaded videos unless you expressly authorize us to do so, submit content for public showcase or promotional use, or disclosure is required by law. We also do not use uploaded videos or generated outputs to train or fine-tune AI models without explicit user consent, except for aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify a user or their content.
Depending on the feature used, generated previews or processed outputs may be made available to you for viewing, download, or further processing for a limited period. You are responsible for downloading any output you wish to keep before the applicable retention period expires.

We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, governmental requests, or regulatory obligations. We may also disclose information to enforce our Terms of Service, investigate potential violations, prevent fraud or abuse, detect and address security or technical issues, protect the rights and safety of users or third parties, or protect our business, systems, and Services.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Security and infrastructure providers may also use cookies or related technologies to help prevent fraud, detect malicious traffic, provide bot protection, improve reliability, and maintain the performance and security of the platform.
We may use analytics and measurement technologies to better understand website traffic, feature usage, product performance, processing reliability, and user interactions with the Services. These technologies may collect information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referral URLs, session activity, interactions, and approximate geographic information.
Depending on the features you use, cookies or similar technologies may also be used by payment providers to support payment processing, fraud prevention, billing functionality, and transaction security.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. Depending on your location, you may also have the ability to control cookie preferences through browser settings, device settings, or any cookie consent tools made available through the Services. Please note that disabling certain cookies or technologies may cause portions of the Services to function improperly.

Where permitted by law, we may also send newsletters, product updates, promotional offers, or other marketing communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting us. Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending transactional or service-related messages that are necessary for account administration, security, billing, or service delivery.
We may use third-party email delivery and communication providers to send transactional or marketing-related communications. For example, we may use Resend to deliver account-related emails, authentication emails, notifications, billing messages, support communications, and other service-related communications.

This information is used solely for authentication, account creation, account access, and related account management purposes within the Services.
We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, YouTube, Google Photos, or other Google account content. We also do not request access to Google account data beyond the information necessary to support Google Sign-In authentication functionality.

For deleted accounts, we will delete all personal information associated with the account within 30 days after the account deletion request is processed, unless we are required or permitted by applicable law to retain certain information.
This includes account information, uploaded source videos, generated previews, processed outputs, support communications, usage records, and other account-related personal information.
Certain information may be retained only where required or permitted by law, such as for tax, accounting, financial compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Any retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.
11. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and uploaded content from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, loss, alteration, or destruction.
These safeguards may include encrypted connections, access controls, authentication protections, secure cloud infrastructure, limited internal permissions, monitoring systems, abuse detection, temporary signed URLs, expiring access links, and other measures intended to reduce security risks.
Only personnel, contractors, or service providers with a legitimate need to access information for service operation, support, security, or legal purposes are permitted to do so, subject to appropriate confidentiality or access obligations.

12. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed, stored, or transferred in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
When we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps intended to support lawful transfer and protection of that information, where required by applicable law. These steps may include using contractual protections, data processing agreements, standard contractual clauses, adequacy mechanisms, technical safeguards, and vendor review processes.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will rely on recognized transfer mechanisms where required for transfers of personal information to countries that have not been found to provide an adequate level of protection.
By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own, subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable legal safeguards.
13. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, request deletion of personal information, request restriction of processing, object to certain processing activities, request data portability, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and opt out of certain marketing communications.

Where processing is based on consent, withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the withdrawal. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object to such processing, and we will stop processing the relevant information unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the processing is necessary for legal claims.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe that we have processed your personal data unlawfully.
